Everyone knows that industry provides good jobs. While it’s too far in the future to determine exactly what industry, some favorites include boat building — or related manufacturing.

In any case, the goal is to attract the kinds of sustainable businesses that will ensure our children and their children have good jobs now and in the future. Too many Florida communities have failed to plan for economic growth to meet the population explosion. As a result, Floridians graduate from high school and can’t afford to live in the communities they call home. This plan is designed to, at least in part, do something positive by providing good jobs in a great community.
